Invictus

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,

보던 네네 만델라가 암송하는 싯구가 궁금하여 찾아 보았다.
이시는 만델라가 26년간 수감생활동안 되네이던 시라고 한다.

만델라..... 그사람에 대해 궁금해진다.
